Part One…Choosing a Contractor
The last two years has changed the perspective of many families and the way in which they have newly chosen to organize their living spaces. Our family certainly has. Close to retirement, along with the consideration of our children who we have recently purchased a home on a large property with, we have decided to build a large addition onto to it. This will create an inter-generational home. After scrutinizing all of the construction scenarios it became obvious that Millennial Construction was the ideal choice for us. Matt Daigle has been wonderful, with his expertise in guiding us from our first meeting, right through the incredible design phase to realize our dream home as a family. They provided our site plan drawings quickly, understanding our needs, guiding us through changes. He is hands on, very supportive, organized and knowledgeable. A life changing decision like this requires trust and confidence in a contractor and Matt has been there with us from our first meeting and all the way through the home design phase. We will be breaking ground shortly and are very excited to continue working with Millennial Contracting and Matt’s team.
Part Two…Breaking Ground!
How exciting it was to watch the ground break on our forever home. Matt, Shawn & the Millennial Crew have been right on target with the timeline of our build. They have been extremely reliable and absolute perfectionist with bringing to life our plans on paper. From excavation, to pouring cement, framing and watching the rest of the bones go up with they have continually impressed us with precise measurements and careful consideration. Patient & informative, taking our family’s input and inquiries every step of the way, they aren’t just building a house, they are building our home. Watching Matt Daigle roll up his sleeves and contribute to the installation of our trusses was fantastic to see. Knowing that he not only owns & operates the business, but that he has the professional experience in the trades to step in wherever and whenever needed. We are grateful for Millennials continued hard work and are fortunate to have chosen Millennial Contracting for our new home build!
Part Three…The Finishing Touches
So we’ve arrived at the point where the finishing work has begun. The Pro’s at Millennial Contracting are hands on when it comes to the all important finishing phase! Their Punctuality and Perseverance reassures us that our dream home is almost complete. We are weeks away from christening our new home with a “WELCOME” mat. Matt & Shawn have been there for us at every step of the way to guide us during the process as well as coach us on finishing choices. Their careful attention and flexibility in attending to our personal taste for our future home is a wonderful quality in a Contractor. This is no “Cookie Cutter Home”, this is our custom family home, that will be enjoyed by generations to come. Building it is a very personal experience. Sharing that with Matt Daigle & the Crew at Millennial makes them feel like family! Thank You Everyone! Part Four…on the way!!!
It’s all done!…so here we are, “ living the dream” in our beautiful multi-generational home, thanks to Matt Daigle, Shawn Kyer and the Millennial Contracting Crew! Our expectations were surpassed by their expertise, design experience, careful considerations and quality workmanship. Their exemplary service kept the project flowing beautifully. Our first winter was met with all of the conveniences and comfort attributed to a new home build. Radiant floor heating and picturesque oversized windows kept us warm throughout the cold winter days. It’s everything we had imagined and more! We are very grateful for Matt & his Team and would highly recommend them to anyone considering the experience of building a new home!
