Shawn Kyer – Project Manager
As the Project Manager at Millennial Contracting, Shawn Kyer brings a wealth of experience from the high-end renovation industry. Before joining the Millennial team, he presided over Rhymack Homes Ltd., a reputable renovation company located in Calgary, Alberta. Established in 2009 after a successful two-year stint as a sole proprietor, Rhymack Homes swiftly grew under his leadership. (Fun fact: Rhymack was named after his daughters, Rhyan and MacKenzie.) The company soon boasted a team of eight dedicated employees along with over a dozen professional sub-trades and suppliers. This quick expansion positioned Rhymack Homes as a top choice contractor in Calgary, undertaking projects ranging from small-scale bathroom renovations to substantial new constructions.
In 2021, Shawn made a return to his roots in Cornwall, Ontario, his hometown. Here, he crossed paths with Matthew Daigle. It swiftly became evident that Shawn’s valuable skills and assets would play a key role in driving Millennial Contracting’s growth.
With an extensive background in carpentry, specifically finishing carpentry and a wealth of industry knowledge, Shawn is a valuable key player in the company. His aim? To realize Millennial Contracting’s potential and make it the number one renovation company in Cornwall.
In his spare time, he exemplifies the old saying, “a carpenter’s house is never done,” consistently finding a new project to further enhance his own home.
