Born and raised in Cornwall, Ontario, as one of five siblings, I developed a strong appreciation for hands-on work from an early age. Growing up in a creative household—my mother being a graphic designer who contributed to notable local projects such as the Cornwall Clock Tower at Lamoureux Park and various business logos throughout the community—I was naturally drawn to both artistic expression and fine detail. This early exposure to design and craftsmanship helped shape my eye for aesthetics and instilled in me a strong attention to detail that continues to guide my work today.

At the age of 16, I entered the construction industry and began acquiring a wide range of skills through various roles in the trades. During my college years, I completed a framing course, which deepened my understanding of structural work and further sparked my interest in building. Over time, this interest evolved into a passion for furniture-making, which I began pursuing as a hobby, alongside completing small renovation projects during seasonal work periods.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, I’ve developed a versatile skill set that spans everything from rough carpentry to fine finishing work. Working with tools has been a constant throughout my life, not just as a profession but as a creative outlet and personal pursuit. Looking ahead, I am committed to continuing this path—not only to refine my craft further but also to pass on the knowledge and values of quality workmanship to my daughter as she grows.
